AI Use Policy

1. Transparency and Disclosure Requirements:

  1. Authors and contributors must transparently disclose and describe any use of AI technologies in their submissions.
  2. This includes acknowledging AI use in the contributor section and providing detailed descriptions in the methods section.
  3. Authors should clearly state:
    • The name of the AI technology used.
    • The rationale behind its usage.
    • The specific tasks the AI technology performed.
  4. Authors are encouraged to include summaries of input, output, and the review process of AI-generated content for editorial assessment.

2. Decision Making and Evaluation:

  1. AHM Journal will evaluate the reasonableness and consistency of AI usage declarations with its publication policies.
  2. Submissions may be rejected or subject to post-publication changes if declarations are inadequate or if AI usage raises concerns.

3. Authorship and Responsibility for AI-Influenced Content:

  1. AI technologies will not be recognized as authors of submitted content.
  2. Authorship is reserved for accountable human contributors.
  3. Authors and contributors are accountable for the accuracy, proper attribution, and originality of content produced or influenced by AI.

4. Detection and Screening:

AMH Journal may employ screening tools pre- or post-publication to identify AI-generated content. Such tools may be used systematically or on a case-by-case basis.

5. Peer Review:

  1. Reviewers using AI technology during the peer review process must declare its usage.
  2. Reviewers should safeguard the confidentiality of unpublished manuscripts.
